The First Pilot

The first pilot in history, of a powered flight at least, was Henri Giffard. On Septemer 24, 1852, he travelled in a steam-powered airship almost 27 kilometres from Paris to Trappes.

But we’re talking about a different kind of pilot... Bet your first thought was of the Wright brothers though :)

Enabled, with our project partner, That Science Gang have received funding and endorsement for our own first pilot.

We can’t give too much away, but we are developing something that will revolutionise the way science is taught in the classroom. And good news for the kids - it’s a lot more fun.

Anyway, this post is to thank our funding partners, RiAus (the Royal Instistiution of Australia), and SA Film Corporation. Thank you.

The development of the first pilot is now underway!

We’ll let you know how the takeoff goes.
